Coffee is Tanzania's largest export crop, with nine different growing regions, only one of which produces Robusta: (Bukoba on the northern border of Lake Victoria) Like most East African coffees, Tanzanian coffee is bright and citrusy, similar to Kenya and Ethiopia. However, Tanzanian coffee has not reached the level of Kenya's or Ethiopia's famous coffee, due to the inconsistency of the harvest.
